Hey there,

I am building a small rest api which I now want to make secure. That means I like to use authentification. What way to handle authentification would you suggest? I read about OAuth 2 and 1.0 and basicauth. I read that OAuth 1.0 is more secure but harder to implement. I want to use the api with a desktop software and an angular js frontend. What are you guys using. I am bit confused whats best.
