ETA on Auth plugin?

I'm trying out Slim and need an auth solution... I saw in a previous thread that you were working on a middleware component... What's the ETA on that? I was planning on rolling my own, but if one's close, I can either help or wait.

    Hi Lee/Josh,
Any update on this? I am in the same situation, I could write my own but if a SlimPHP auth solution is coming then I would wait.

I've decided to start work on one instead. Its based on the Zend Framework components Zend_Session and Zend_Auth; essentially a stripped down version. I'll reply to this question with the code when done for posterity, but in the mean time the Zend Framework, for those that don't know, can be used as a component library too, you don't have to use the entire thing for it to be useful.

This is in progress as we speak, it is implemented via a Slim Middleware in the Slim Extras repo.

Documentation is still not completed and I am currently working on that at the moment. But for you who don't mind digging into the code it is well commented and should provide enough to get started with.
