Plugin architecture

Hello,

I plan to build a custom framework/CMS on top of Slim (for my own use, at first anyway) and I am currently thinking about its architecture. I would like it to be a simple core (probably a class extending Slim) and many plugins/modules, managed via Composer.

As I read there is a plugin architecture for Slim in the work, I wondered what it looks like but couldn't find any information. My goal would be to think my plugins in the same way in order to be able to adapt them easily to the official Slim plugin architecture once it is released.

So, here are my questions :

  • Is there any information about the upcoming Slim plugin architecture that could help me ? (even the source code of a pre-alpha version)
  • Have you got any advises about implementing plugins on top of Slim ?

Thank you very much !

Regards,
olivier
