Does Laravel's Lumen really provide more requests per second?

Could anyone please confirm how accurate the benchmarks are for Slim Framework vs Lumen? (as seen here: )

Benchmarks are just benchmarks. Taylor would need to publish the apps used to create his benchmarks before they can be taken seriously. That being said, Lumen does look pretty nice and it is strikingly similar in features and goals as Slim 3.

Good to know that both are very similar :)
Will ask if they can release the code used for those benchmarks.

Lumen is a big tick for Slim 3.

Taylor states how he did the test on Redit search for PSR-7 in this link.

In this article Taylor states “I was not going to release Lumen unless I could say it’s faster than Silex and Slim out of the box.”

Also, Slim 3 has already become MUCH faster since the Lumen release. My own benchmarks indicate Slim 3 and Lumen are pretty much even.
